SMS Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the SMS notification program operated by Maitreya Retreat ("we," "us," "our") for staff, contractors, and work-trader members.

 

Service Description

Maitreya Retreat operates an internal task-management system that sends SMS notifications to invited staff, contractors, and work-traders regarding their work assignments at our wellness center located at 702 Water St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060. Messages may include task assignments, due-date reminders, manager questions, submission approvals or denials, and critical-late escalations. Messages may include a link to the recipient's secure worker dashboard.

 

Eligibility

By submitting your phone number, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the authority to consent to receive SMS messages at the phone number provided.

 

Opt-In

You opt in by entering your mobile phone number into our staff onboarding form at <https://maitreya-dashboard-production.up.railway.app/staff-onboarding>. By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive recurring SMS notifications related to your work at Maitreya Retreat. Phone number entry is optional; you may choose not to receive SMS and instead receive notifications through other channels (Telegram, in-app dashboard).

 

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies with task volume. Most staff receive between 1 and 10 messages per day. Frequency may be higher during busy periods or when a staff member has multiple active assignments.

 

Charges

Standard message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier based on your mobile plan.

 

Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS notifications. You can re-enter your phone number through the staff onboarding form to resubscribe.

Privacy

We will not share, sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For full details, see our SMS Privacy Policy.

 

Service Availability

This SMS service is currently invitation-only. While the service is restricted to invited staff, contractors, and work-trader members, these Terms of Service are publicly accessible and govern the SMS program.
